![]() When my CPU usage is high from applications outside the game, it can cause issue with the flippers reacting very slowly to my inputs, and it also causes some frames to skip or slow down, making the video appear to be in slow motion or suffering from a strobe-light effect. Regardless, for me, the lag is impacted with CPU usage. I didn't look into the issue too far, but I did uncheck an option to allow the scan to run at the highest priority. However, there is something going on with the task scheduler that manages when the scans occur. The security scan itself does not seem to impact performance when I manually run a scan and play pinball. My issue was very rare and it coincided with my Windows Defender task scan. I'll continue monitoring hardware utilisation and frame time consistency but nothing unusual to report (Win 10 Pro / 3700X / RTX 2080). Keep a note of any relevant settings (mode/camera/visual extras etc.), if possible try it with the cab features disabled on the secondary display. I did a quick check to see if any background processes were enabled, but I did not seeing anything out of the ordinary. It seemed to get worse as the game continued until I lost the last ball, from a mistimed flipper strike. Indiana Jones started lagging near the flippers later in the game, but not during the beginning. ![]() Originally posted by Crazy Newt:I was playing a few tournaments earlier and jumped from a few different tables. I'll play the IJ table again and see if it starts lagging and try to figure out some logical explanations for it. No other applications are running in the background that are using any serious resources. LG 32" 2560x1440 G-Sync FPS locked at 120 for Pinball FX3 I do have a second monitor that displays the backglass and DMD, but this is not something new, and I have been using this same setup for quite some time. This is something new, and so far it only occurs with this new table. I'll typically play pinball all day without closing the game and listen to music and watch some sports in the background stepping away from time to time to do some laundry or make a drink or a bite.
